We are a water resources management utility that combines science and nature to clean water and return it to the Tualatin River, so it can be used again.
We work in partnership with others to safeguard the river’s health and vitality, ensure the economic success of our region, and protect public health for more than 570,000 residents and businesses in urban Washington County.
Spoiler alert: We are using all the water we'll ever have. Whether it comes from a river, lake or melting snowpack, our water is part of a closed system—one water. This one water has been used before and will be used again.
A watershed is like a great big bowl linking land, water, and people. Our Tualatin River watershed drains 712 square miles and ranges from densely populated areas to agricultural areas and the forests of Oregon’s Coast Range.
