211th and Brackenwood Outfalls
Project No. 6348
This project was identified through the outfall retrofit program. The outfall retrofit program is part of the implementation of the Healthy Streams Plan. The program aims to provide storm water quality treatment for existing significant stormwater outfalls including outfalls from commercial/industrial areas that are 12” and larger and residential areas that are e 36” or larger.
This location has one outfall from a residential area that is 36” in diameter and 3 other untreated outfalls in close proximity that drain into the headwaters of an unnamed tributary to Beaverton Creek. Various water quality facility designs will be considered that will treat multiple outfalls. In addition, the buffer along the existing stream corridor will be enhanced by the removal of invasive species and supplementary native plantings to be maintained for five years after completion of the project.
