Locust Street Sanitary Improvements
Project No. 6335
This project involves the upsizing of approximately 5,000 lineal feet of existing 12-inch and 15-inch sewer to 18-inch sewer starting at the intersection of SW 65th Avenue and SW Dickenson Street then along SW Locust Street to SW Hall Boulevard. The starting location is at the boundary of the Clean Water Services (District) jurisdiction and the City of Portland jurisdiction. The City of Portland is in the process of upgrading and upsizing the sanitary sewer system tributary to this trunk line due to significant capacity issues. The project is designed to increase the conveyance capabilities of the District trunk line within the Ash Creek corridor to accommodate the increased flows that will be generated from the City improvements. A significant portion of the District trunk line scheduled for upgrade is in the City of Tigard which shall participate in the cost of the project on a proportional basis. District shall design and manage the construction of the project.
