CEDAR MILL @ MURRAY BLVD. STORMWATER PROJECT

The Cedar Mill at Murray Blvd. storm project addresses three elements identified in the Cedar Mill - N. Johnson Flood Management Study and the Healthy Streams Plan: (1) Rita Drive storm system conveyance improvements, (2) Pretreatment of a stormwater outfall and (3) Surface water conveyance of Cedar Mill Creek across the village Baptist Church site to improve hydraulics and reduce flooding of the Rita Drive neighborhood.

July 2008

David Evans & Associates is surveying the stormwater drainage system in the Rita neighborhood and CWS is looking to apply an outfall retrofit treatment. Completing the retrofit design is on hold pending results from the XPSWMM model. The results will identify the specific stormwater issues that need to be addressed on this project.
